It’s almost close to Valentine’s Day, or Galentine and I thought I’d share this cute valentine makeup tutorial with you guys. I’m using NARS Wanted palette for this look since I bought the palette a while back but didn’t get a change to use it.
This look is all about that doll eye with soft kissable lips. Nothing too dramatic besides the eyelashes, which obviously you can skip if you .prefer. I chose to create this look since I think this is something that I’d definitely wear on a date.

So, this look is very NARS heavy, since I just bought a bunch of products from them recently. I’ll be doing a NARS foundation review (the one one!) soon, since that’s what I’ve been wearing lately.
This look is all about looking fresh and very youthful. I find that if you want to achieve a youthful fresh look, you almost want to go a little bit more heavy on the blush to really make your cheeks look like it’s flushed. The best way to achieve this flushed look, I feel, is by using a cream or liquid blush. For this look, I actually used NARS liquid blush called Dolce Vita.
The eyes are very light and shimmery with a little definition. You don’t want to go too smoky with this look, since we want to keep the overall look very youthful. I’d say if you naturally have a lot of lashes to begin with, you can definitely skip the falsies.
The eyelashes that I chose today is a little bit too much, but you can definitely tone it down using a more natural looking one (e.g. Ardell Demi wispies), or as I’ve said, skip it altogether. I don’t have much lashes to begin with, so I chose this falsies to open up my eyes a bit more.
The lips are berry coloured and kissable. The trick to this is to apply my all time favourite colour, Bite Beauty Eclair liquid lipstick and dab away the excess using your finger. That way, the colour melts into your lips, almost like a stain almost. Then to moisturize my lips a little bit more since it can get dry and chappy, I applied a little bit of Flawless by Friday Honey & Gold lip serum. Again, dabbing the excess it doesn’t look gooey or overly glossy!
