Anyways, I decided to give Sigma E35 brush a try since I have yet to own/try the E35. The E35 is a tapered blending brush, with synthetic bristles. This brush is slightly longer and thinner than the E25 brush. I have used this brush on myself and on models. From my experience using this brush, the E35 is suited for blending or to apply transition shade.

I find that this brush is easier to be used on those with deeper eye socket. On myself, since I do not have deep eye socket, I find the E25 to be a better brush to use for blending, and to apply crease color. Nevertheless, the E35 brush is still a good blending brush for those with deeper eye sockets than mine (or Oriental eyes).

Eyeliner Brushes!

Alright! Let’s talk brushes! I’d like to share an infographic by Sigma Beauty regarding eyeliner brushes and the effects it creates. See, the thing with makeup is you can achieve whatever effect you like depending on the tools and products you are using.

I don’t believe that there’s a specific rule on which brush to use for makeup, but the infographic below would be a useful guide, especially if you just beginning to learn about makeup.

Personally, my all-time favorite is the E75 Angled Brow brush for any type of eyeliner products (gel, liquid, pencil, powder). I have more control, and it can creates a sharper line. Not to mention, if you have shaky hand, or can’t seem to get the line straight, this E75 brush is perfect for you. I started out using this brush too when I first learn about makeup! I think the fact that this brush has an angled edge helps with the contour of your eyes. I just love this brush for eyeliner and eyebrow application!

Oh, just an extra thing, but E15 Flat Definer Brush is actually what I love to use to define my eyebrows! Check my post on How to Fill in Eyebrows to see what I’m talking about.
