Today’s tutorial is pretty simple and quite effortless to be honest. I recently purchased the Anastasia Beverly Hills (ABH) Soft glam palette, and I actually I haven’t bought any palette from them since the Mario palette, so why not right?

At first glance, if you already have their other palettes, I’d say don’t bother with the Soft Glam. Especially if you already have a lot of neutral palettes, I’d say this isn’t one of those must-have palettes. The colour selection is alright, but most of the eyeshadows are a repeat from other palettes.
If you don’t have a neutral palette yet, or if you’re starting with makeup, I’d say this palette isn’t a bad choice to start with. Although, I’d say that the Tarte In Bloom palette is probably more beginner friendly than this ABH Soft Glam palette.
The palette in terms of texture and pigmentation is similar to its sister palette, Modern Renaissance. Highly pigmented, but at the same time it’s pressed very lightly so you’ll get a lot of fallout if you aren’t careful. Great pigmentation and easy to blend.
Anyways, for this look, I wanted to use Sultry from the palette, and for some reason the shades on my eyes become very terracotta-ish. This whole look is pretty monochromatic, simple and subdued. Pretty much my preferred makeup look lately.
I just want to mention that for my face, I’m trying out my new DECIEM Serum foundation. I know it’s not new but it is new to me, since I recently purchased it. Just want to give a quick review here – I don’t like it. In fact, I hate it. I tried it on myself and on my models, I hate how it sits on the skin. I actually preferred their The Ordinary Full coverage foundation over the serum foundation.
