Check out my step-by-step Grim Reaper pictorial from last year if you haven’t!
Don’t forget to check out the other Halloween Makeup I’ve done over the years!
This year’s skull makeup is definitely, by far, one of my favourite! I think if you take a look at my old Skull makeup tutorials, you’ll notice I’ve improved this time! I’m absolutely loving the teeth, I think that area is by far the most improved. I’ve been obsessing how I want to create thin teeth outlines, and I managed to do it this year using Shu Uemura Calligraphy Ink Liner.
The one thing that I think I can improve on is my symmetry, as well as depth perception. I’m still struggling in my highlight and shadow placement. I’m going to see if I can practice more on this aspect for next year’s Halloween makeup. I do apologize for the lack of Halloween tutorial this year, I have been quite busy and also I haven’t been feeling very inspired lately and to be honest even at this moment I’m not feeling very motivated to continue blogging & vlogging. I hope I’ll get out of this rut soon!
For this half-skull makeup, I’ve done something similar to it a loooong time a go! You guys can check that out HERE and you can see how much improvement I’ve made throughout the years on the skull part. I think I should have added a bit more shadow along the scab part, but oh well, it is done!
Anyways, I do have a few product reviews for you guys, so I hope I can do those reviews soon! I hope you all have an awesome spooktacular Halloween!
