Hi Carmen,

At first you might have to do free jobs, then eventually you’ll get the paid jobs. It’s best if you join an agency because they’ll get you all the paid jobs. When I was freelancing, I usually have a job almost every week, whether it’s paid or unpaid. It really depends on how determine you are in finding a job and networking. Currently, I do a lot more bridal jobs than creative since I’m working full time as a counselor, so I only have time on the weekend. To be honest with you, it’s a very competitive area and you’ve to be very patient and determined. Again, as I say, you’re better off joining an agency than freelancing. A friend of mine who has joined an agency gets great jobs all the time.

Hi Carmen,

Depending on the class you’re enrolled in you received different products. For sure, u’ll receive basics – brushes,eyeshadows, blushes, lipsticks, foundation of different shades…yes, you’ll probably have to get more sponges, brush cleaner or eyeshadow/other makeup productss of ur own preference

Would you say it is hard to find jobs? Are you ever more then a week or month without a any jobs lined up?
