Colourful Eye Makeup

Thus begins my season of everything bright and colourful! Today’s colourful eye makeup is probably not everyone’s cup’s of tea, but I am loving it! Fun and colourful eye makeup for the festival and carnival seasons. I think you’ll be seeing more and more colourful makeup for the next couple weeks.

For this tutorial, I used NYX Vivid Brights liners – Halo (yellow), Blossom (pastel purple) and Fire (red) along my lower lash line. I love these liners! They are very watery, though, so be careful when using them, make sure you let them dry first before opening your eyes or else you’ll smear it everywhere.

I’m also using 2 ColourPop products – Snap Dragon eyeshadow & Prance creme liner. Snap Dragon is a minty-green eyeshadow, and it’s matte. You don’t really need a white base for this eyeshadow since it’s very pigmented. I do have to pack on the eyeshadow several times to my eyelid to get the pigments, however, once you’ve packed it on the colour looks amazing!

The Prance creme liner looks absolutely gorgeous! You might have to go over the liner several times to make sure that the colour is really opaque, but it’s so smooth and easy to use. I do notice, though, that the colour of this liner turns slightly darker than the colour in the pot, but I’m not sure what causes this, it could be because I was using Snap Dragon as my eyelid colour.

Anyways, I hope you guys will subscribe to my channel (if you haven’t done so already!).
