Bold Brows Routine with Tweezerman

As mentioned on my last video, today I’ll be sharing with you guys my Bold Brows routine using Tweezerman products. Last week, I shared with you how I do my brows to look a little bit more defined yet still natural looking. This week, I’m going for a bit more of a bolder brows look. This bolder brows look, I think, gives a bit more of a youthful vibe to the overall look. Anyways, check out the video below and read more to see how I achieve this look.

Back when I was a teenager, very arched thin brows were the trends. In contrary, this year and I think the next couple years, natural thick brows will be making a huge comeback. Already, I’m loving this trend and if you’ve been following me on Instagram you’d notice that all of the models I’ve been working with have these amazing beautiful full brows.

It’s too bad that I’ve tweezed and shaped my brows over the years, and now my brows are quite thin. My brows are naturally sparse, so filling them in is a must. Today I’m using Tweezerman Brow Definer pencil to fill them in, and you’ll notice that filling in with pencil is quite different than filling in with powder. Powder gives sparse brows a fuller looking finish, while pencil gives more of a natural finish. I do have to warn that if you do use pencil and you are not used to it, you’ll tend to overdraw your brows. This is coming from my own experience back when the “Instagram brows” were all the range.

As mentioned above, since my brows are already shaped and quite thin, I tend to draw below where the brow hair grows. This trick helps me to create a fuller brow. However, as you can see from the picture above (step 2), just by drawing below where the hair grows doesn’t make it look natural. To add texture to this area, I use my favourite brow marker to draw in individual hairs. Add highlight if you prefer, and set the brow hair using Tweezerman browmousse.

If you are interested to see how I tweeze and trim my eyebrows, don’t forget to check out my previous brow tutorial! I used my Tweezerman All That Glitter Slant tweezer to remove those pesky stray hair! Anyways, stay tuned and subscribe to my Youtube channel so you’ll get updated when I upload the makeup that I wore in the picture below! I’ll upload the new tutorial this Saturday at 1pm (EST).
