Prosthetics – Nose Cast

Hello all!

Today I’m going to share with you what I learnt last week in class!!! I’m right now going through my prosthetic class with Tony Chappell (greatest prosthetic instructor of all time!! lol..okay may be he’ll be the greatest if he gives me good mark! right, tony??? =D)

We did some nose casting in class and you’ll see once again Tiffany as my model..=)..

It’s super fuuuun! Click on each picture for a brief description on how to do a nose cast.

Products used:

Alginate – the pink stuffs that you use to take an impression of the nose (made from seaweed/kelp)

Plaster bandage – to support the flimsy alginate

UltraCal – the cement basically

Model – Tiffany
